Community Day Parade & Celebration

The parade takes place on Fraser Highway between 203 and 207 Streets. Following the parade is Community Day in Douglas Park, filled with displays, entertainment, great food and family activities.
The sidewalks of Fraser Highway will entice your senses with the delicious aromas of cuisine from around the world, gourmet specialties dishes and decadent desserts! Start the day with a scrumptious pancake breakfast, take in cooking demonstrations at the McBurney Plaza Culinary Stage, participate in the pie eating contest and enjoy tasting all our downtown has to offer. Bring the little ones and make a "foodie" craft to take home!

Langley Canada Day

This event takes place at MacLeod Athletic Park (56 Avenue and 216 Street) and is the destination point for over 50,000 fellow Canadians to celebrate our Nation’s birthday each year.
McBurney Plaza Grand Opening
July 6, 2013 6:00-9:00pm
The City of Langley and Downtown Langley Business Association invite you to join them for the official Grand Opening of the revitalized McBurney Plaza. Join us to experience the ambiance as it shifts from day to evening, while sampling Langley’s finest wines, delicious canapés and decadent desserts. Local musicians and artists will add to your experience as they share their talents throughout the event.

Downtown Langley City
With over 200 visual and performing artists, our festival has become a signature event in the lower mainland. This free, family event features live musical performances, artists and artisans showcasing a myriad of mediums, live demonstrations, a children's venue and special performance surprises throughout the day!

Downtown Langley City
North America’s largest outdoor car show. Over 1,500 cars and 50,000 people come out for this exciting day.

BBQ On The Bypass

This event takes place at 20771 Langley By-Pass and is the most popular BBQ competition in the lower mainland. Teams from all over the Pacific Northwest are invited and there’s always lots to eat and do all day.
The parade takes place on Fraser Highway between 203 and 207 Streets. Country Christmas follows at the Douglas Recreation Centre with Mayor Fassbender kicking off the “tree lighting” ceremony, entertainment and family activities.
