Here’s a list of festivals and events that take place in beautiful Langley, British Columbia, throughout the year.
Saturday, April 5th 6:00pm-9:00pm
The City of Langley invites you to join them for the official Grand Opening of the revitalized McBurney Plaza. Join us to experience the ambiance as it shifts from day to evening, while sampling Langley’s finest wines, delicious canapés and decadent desserts. Local musicians and artists will add to your experience as they share their talents throughout the event.
Local Government Day
9:00 am-12 Noon
Location: Langley City Hall
Sunday, May 4th – noon to 4 pm
This free event features a variety of fun, family oriented activities before & after the walk including live entertainment, clowns, draw prizes, refreshments and trophy presentations. Location is at Douglas Park & Spirit Square.
Community Day Parade & Celebration
The parade takes place on Fraser Highway between 203 and 207 Streets. Following the parade is Community Day in Douglas Park, filled with displays, entertainment, great food and family activities.

BBQ on the Bypass
Sunday, September 14th – 10 am to 6 pm
This event takes place at 20771 Langley By-Pass and is the most popular BBQ competition in the lower mainland. Teams from all over the Pacific Northwest are invited and there’s always lots to eat and do all day.
Magic of Christmas Parade & Country Christmas
The parade takes place on Fraser Highway between 203 and 207 Streets. Country Christmas follows at the Douglas Recreation Centre with Mayor Schaffer kicking off the “tree lighting” ceremony, entertainment and family activities.
